Well let me introduce myself, My name is Marie and I am the proud mum to my beautiful girls Millie and Lucia and married to my best friend Andrew. When I am not chasing my girls around my passion is coming up with creative ways to capture moments in time through my love of art.
I thought I would start my first blog off by letting you know how The Imprint Studio came about, my personal journey with ceramic Imprints began when I met baby Oliver who’s life began and ended in the warmth of his mother’s womb. I had the privilege of meeting Oliver and took his imprints when he was born on the 14th of June 2009. Meeting Ollie and his beautiful parents Tanya and Brett changed my life forever.
What began as a small gift for a grieving family turned into a passion for creating ceramic imprints that celebrate life, love and family. The Imprint Studio is “Oliver’s legacy” as this journey began with him. Ollie reminds me daily of the importance of my work and how every life and Imprint is precious, delicate and beautiful.
The Imprint Studio is an extension of my photography business, which made a name for itself with our unique Baby Imprint products combining beautiful newborn photographs with ceramic tiles. Since launching the products in 2009 we have paved the way for fresh modern keepsakes and the Imprint Studio introduces an extended range of ceramic imprints that celebrates life’s special moments and milestones.
